Prunum apicinum - Common Marginella
The Common Marginella is univalve sea snail, who's body extends out and covers the entire shell as it lives its' life. It can be found in shallow coastal waters from North Carolina to the Gulf of Mexico and the West Indies and only grows to 1/2" in length.
This necklace is made from the molding and casting of a real found seashell in recycled silver. This shell was found by a dear friend on Edisto Island, South Carolina.
The small charm is only 3/4" long and 1/4" wide and it is strung on a 16”, 18”, or 20” sterling silver cable chain of your choice. A large-sized olive is also available.
This design is currently available in solid polished or oxidized sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, email me for custom options and a quote.
All HKM Jewelry pieces are made to order and are properly hallmarked for metal type and authenticity.
