This cast silver Sea Tail Cuff was inspired by the many different types of porpoise and whales that live in our seas. I carved the tail design in a block of wax by carefully shaping it into a modest little tail with files and carving burs, then sent it to a local, family owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid recycled metal.
Once the pieces are returned, I solder them to a beautifully twisted band and hammer the cuff into a comfortable C-shape that will not roll or catch. Finally the piece is cleaned up and hand polished with care. This design is currently available in solid sterling silver but other metals are always available, message me for custom options and a quote. All HKM Jewelry pieces are properly hallmarked for metal type and stamped for authenticity.
