Bulla Striata - Atlantic Bubble Snail
The Atlantic Bubble Snail is a warm-water, sea snail that can grow up to 1.25" long. They can be found in the Western Atlantic from Florida, throughout the Caribbean to Venezuela. They live in both sandy bottoms and rock beds, they burrow into the mud when the tide is out and feed on detritus.
The Bubble Shell Necklace is made from the molding and casting of a real bubble shell that I found on Peanut Island in West Palm Beach, Florida. I had it molded and cast in solid, recycled, silver. Once the casting is created, I solder on jump rings and it is then strung on a 16”, 18”, or 20” sterling silver cable chain of your choice.
The charm is 1.25" long and 1/2" wide including bail. This design is currently available in polished or oxidized sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always possible, message me for custom options and a quote.
