This Ribbed Cantharus Necklace is made from the molding and casting of a real found Ribbed Cantharus shell in recycled silver. I collected the original empty mollusk shell on a beach on the Gulf Coast of Florida and then sent it to a local, family owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid metal.
Once the casting is returned, I solder on jump rings, clean and polish by hand, it is then strung on a 16”,18”, or 20” sterling silver cable chain of your choice. The charm is only 1" long and 3/8th" wide including bail.
This design is currently available in solid polished or oxidized sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, message me for custom options and a quote. All HKM Jewelry pieces are properly hallmarked for metal type and stamped for authenticity.
