The Whelk Wave Cuff is a signature design by HKM, the original shell was found on a beach in Cape May New Jersey. It was then molded and cast by a local, family owned casting company in recycled silver. Once the casting is returned, I solder it to a forged C-style cuff with a tapered frame around the shell. Finally it is cleaned up and hand polished with care.
This design is currently being offered in sterling silver with a polished finish, please request a custom order for alternative metals or finishes. The Whelk Wave Cuff measures 1.25” wide at the top and tapers down to 3mm ends so it won't spin around.
