These Moon Snail Drop Earrings are made from the molding and casting of real found Moon Snail shells in recycled silver. I collected the original empty mollusk shells on a beach in Cape May, New Jersey and then sent them to a local, family owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid metal. Once the castings are returned, I solder on the silver ear wires and form the hooks by hand. Finally they are cleaned up and hand polished with care.
The Moon Snail shells are only 1/2" long and 10mm wide. This design is currently available in solid sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, message me for custom options and a quote.
