Join me on the Cape May Harbor for a pop-up jewelry workshop at The Nature Center of Cape May!
You will learn how to properly select an optimal treasure to work with and create a custom freeform prong setting for it to become a wearable - in just 3 hours! Choose your favorite sea glass or pottery shard from a variety of options provided, or bring your own! Please keep found objects between 3/4" and 1-1/2" as this size is easiest to work with.
Basic jewelry making tools and traditional metalsmithing techniques will be covered, all while overlooking the beautiful Harbor of Cape May. Chain options will be for sale after class if desired.
Your workshop ticket will include a donation to the NCCM, helping to support its mission to educate and conserve the native ecosystem our community thrives within.

No experience is necessary, this is a skill based class and almost anyone can do it! Students must be at least 18 years of age to attend without an adult.
*Please bring your reading glasses to help you see tiny details if you use them, wear sneakers or boots, and tie back long hair for class. The minimum number of students needed to run this class is 4, if the minimum is not met you will receive a full refund. No refunds will be given for student cancellations within 1 week prior to class, it is your responsibility to find replacement person to fill your seat in the event that you cannot attend.

Please arrive 10 minutes before class to get settled in and allow time to find parking on the street, or in the lot. Street parking is free. This event will be held the the classroom building - on the right hand side, at the corner of the property.
