Did you know, Barnacles can be found in any ocean, they appear to be in the mollusk family but are more similar to crabs and shrimp and are actually considered a crustacean. In order to grow they undergo the same molting process of shedding their external skin like all other crustaceans.
This necklace is made from the molding and casting of a real found barnacle fossil in recycled silver. The original was found by my sister in Calvert County, MD. The charm is 3/4" long and 1/2" wide including the bail. It is strung on an 18”, or 20” sterling silver cable chain of your choice.
This design is currently available in solid polished or oxidized sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, message me for custom options and a quote.
All HKM Jewelry pieces are properly hallmarked for metal type and stamped for authenticity.
