The Starfish Dangle Earrings are made from the molding and casting of a real found Sea Star in recycled silver. I found the original preserved specimen, dried up on a beach in Stone Harbor, New Jersey and then I sent it to a local, family owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid metal. Once the castings are returned, I solder on jump rings and attach sterling french hooks. The earrings are a great size to make a statement at 1.5" long and 1.25" wide including hook. I shaped the legs of each star so they are mismatched to appear to be dancing as they hang.
This design is currently available in solid, polished, sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, message me for custom options and a quote. All HKM Jewelry pieces are properly hallmarked for metal type and stamped for authenticity.
