lirophora latilirata - Imperial Venus Clam
The imperial venus clam lives in 60 - 120ft depths on the ocean floor and can wash up on coasts from South Carolina to Brazil, mainly due to beach replenishment. Also known as the Pawley Island shell, it was once said that this shell could only be found there.
Made from the molding and casting of a real found seashell in recycled silver. This shell was found by a lovely friend in Surfside Beach, South Carolina. I molded and cast it for her custom and then added this design to my collection, the shell was then returned to her.
The charm is only 1" long and 1" wide and it is strung on a 16”, 18”, or 20” sterling silver cable chain of your choice.
This design is currently available in solid polished or oxidized sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, email me for custom options and a quote.
All HKM Jewelry pieces are made to order and are properly hallmarked for metal type and authenticity.
