The Mussel Pearl Stud Earrings are made from the molding and casting of a real found New Jersey Mussel Shell in recycled silver. I collected the original empty mollusk shell on a beach in Cape May and then sent it to a local, family owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid metal.
Once the casting is returned, I solder on the post and set the freshwater pearl inside. The Mussel Pearl Stud Earrings are only 1/4" wide and 3/8th" long and come with 7mm ear nut backs. The pearls are 6.5mm in size.
This design is currently available in solid oxidized silver with a white freshwater pearl but other metals and finishes are always available, message me for custom options and a quote.
