The Scallop Shell Cuff Bracelet is made from the molding and casting of a real found scallop shell in recycled silver. I collected the original empty mollusk shells on a beach in Cape May, New Jersey and then sent it to a local, family-owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid metal. The Scallop is the birth shell for November.
Once the casting is returned, I solder it to a forged C-style cuff with a tapered frame around the shell. Finally it is cleaned up and hand-polished with care.
The Scallop Cuff measures 3/4” wide and is currently available in solid sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, message me for custom options and a quote.
