This Twisted Rope Cuff bracelet is made from hand forged sterling silver wire. I twist the pattern into a comfortable C-style cuff with soldered dome ends that will not roll or catch. Finally it is cleaned up and hand polished with care. I was inspired by boat rope and the many different types of weave and macrame used in sailing. Traditional Viking jewelry also used these same motifs in their hand crafted bracelets. Vikings were the original pirates, as they stole chalices and other metal objects on their travels to melt into the ornate jewelry that they used as currency.
The Rope Cuff measures 1/4” wide and is currently available in solid sterling silver or with an accent of 14k gold within the twist pattern.
