The Channeled Whelk Top Earrings are made from the molding and casting of real-found Channeled Whelk shell in recycled silver. I collected the original broken mollusk shell on a beach in Cape May, New Jersey and then had it molded and cast in multiples of solid metal. Once the castings are cleaned up, I solder on forged French hooks and hand-polish them with care.
The Small Mud Snail Drops are only 1" long including hook and 1/2" wide. This design is currently available in solid sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, message me for custom options and a quote. All HKM Jewelry pieces are properly hallmarked for metal type and stamped for authenticity.
