3 - 2 - 1 Cape May Diamond Prong Necklace

This big beauty is the largest Cape May Diamond I have ever worked with, not only 1.25" in length but just about 1" thick and wide as well. I should have weighed it!

The customer is a long time Cape May area resident who rediscovered this old stone recently amongst his mothers belongings. She found the stone in the 50s and had it tumbled long ago. My customer had me design a unique and modern setting for his wife to wear as a necklace. I chose heavy prongs to protect it during everyday wear and a 3 - 2 - 1 style of arranging them that compliments its triangular shape.
