Sea Glass Porpoise Necklaces

My customer found this little collection of sea glass on a Cape May vacation with her sister and daughter. While watching the dolphins swim by each day, they scoured the shoreline for cape may diamonds and sea glass.

I was then commissioned to create a bezel setting for the three best shards for each of them to wear as matching necklaces. I hand pierced a dolphin shape in the backplate of each one to allow the color of the sea glass to shine through.

I tumble polished the cape may beach pebbles that they collected and included them in the jewelry boxes to go with the necklace as extra little treasures. They found some clear quartz, white and even some apricotine! Such a meaningful gift to commemorate a beautiful vacation!
