The Bull Shark Tooth Stud Earrings are made from the molding and casting of a real found Bull Shark Tooth in recycled silver. A friend of mine collected the original tooth on a beach in Cape May, New Jersey and then I sent it to a local, family owned casting company to be cast in multiples of solid metal. Once the castings are returned, I solder on sterling silver posts. The Bull Shark Tooth is only 1/2" long and 1/2" wide.
This shark was believed to be about five feet long when he shed this tooth. Bull Sharks are said to be the most temperamental of all shark species and they have the strongest bite relative to their body size. They have also been known to enter brackish waters and sightings have even been seen in the Delaware River.
This design is currently available in solid, polished, sterling silver but other metals and finishes are always available, message me for custom options and a quote.
