Mini Horseshoe Crab Tail Earrings - Silver Spike Drops

The Mini Horseshoe Crab Tail Earrings are made from the molding and casting of a real found Horseshoe Crab Tail in recycled silver.

As the Horseshoe Crabs grow they molt, or shed their exoskeletons, and the sheds wash up all over the beaches of the world. I collected the original tail from a molt in Cape May, New Jersey, where Horseshoe Crabs are known to breed, and sent it to my local casting company to be molded and cast in solid metal.

The earrings measure 1/8” wide and 1.5” long, including hooks.

This design is currently available in polished sterling silver, but other metals are always available, message me for custom options and a quote. All HKM Jewelry pieces are properly hallmarked for metal type and stamped for authenticity.
